Viral Beer Ads and Canadian Beer Lovers
Just want to point to a couple of interesting beer headlines today.
First is Beer makers increasingly turning to viral ads from the AP. It seems that marketing for beer works on the Internet. Stunning, right?
I know, I should have warned you to sit down before dropping that bombshell. I assumed that since you were already sitting at a computer…Do I assume too much?
And we have this – now, you really will want to prepare yourself for this news – Beer on the decline as more Canadians choose wine.
If, like me, your impression of the average Canadian began with Strange Brew then this will come as quite a shock. But the numbers don’t lie. As Canadain drinkers drink less beer, they are drinking more wine.
